This term I am proud of my 'Through My Eyes' video because it was very cool and I really enjoyed making it. Also I am proud of my SDL (Self Directed Learning). The Reason I am proud of my SDL is because I have gotten better at managing my learning without being prompted to.
This term I have improved on my maths. The reason I think I have improved is because at first I didn't know how to round numbers sensibly but now I completely how to round numbers.
My next step is to record my answers faster when I get a question because I can record answers within 3 seconds but I want to be able to faster.

My Goals Update
My goals for the past week have been:
"My goal this week is to focus on my book standards by making sure that I write on every second line and only cross my mistakes out once.My second goal this week is to focus during reading"
I haven't really worked on this goal for the last week as we were publishing our writing last week. This will need to be my goal next week. I have been going way better in my reading goal of staying focused so I have got my learning completed. I have completed reading assessment for reading consistently for meaning.

I think the author used this song to introduce Summer because it describes Summer very well and she doesn’t judge people until she knows them properly.

The thing this song has to do with Summer is that she thinks August is a great friend no matter what he looks like and she respects August.
