A Day In The Life Of A Bully With Ben, Travis And Thornton

Recount: Bully

Bully

There I was, scootering to school, thats when I pick my first victim for the day. He had brownish blondish hair and was short, his name was Jim. Thinking of what to say, but still scootering closer and closer. Suddenly I find myself shouting out "HEY SHORTY." He looks but still scooters fast to get away from the taunting, but that was only step one. Next I bowl him onto the grass.

"HAHA" I shout loudly. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a yellow vest, then I sprint as fast as I can, getting out of sight.

'Ring Ring, Ring Ring' Thats the bell. I walked to class and sat down.

"Nathan"

"Here"

"Jason"

"Here"

As the roll goes on, and on, Mrs Trotter comes and collects me, she talks about what happened earlier and I get sent to the thinking room at lunch.

*Lunch Time*

As I wait and wait and wait in the thinking room, with nothing to do. I think about escaping, I look left and right and then jump over the desk and out the door. I look where to go and then I see Ben, I dash over to him and tell him why a teacher cant see me. We both bolt over to the playground and hide for the rest of lunch.

After lunch we go back to class and get ready for the roll, but thats when I see Mrs Trotter on the other side of the class, she comes over to me and ask if I can go with her. I stand up and slowly walk over to her. We talk about how I ran out of thinking room and then she lets me go back to class.

When I went home, I didnt bother to bully anyone. I got home and my mum didnt look very happy. She said to me that I had been suspended for 2 days because I had bullied too many people and disobeyed the school rules.

On Mondsy I was told that I had to appologize so I did but I didnt mean it. After all that trouble, I pick my next victim...

My Goal Was To Not Litter And Stop Others From Littering.

I Chose This Because... I chose this goal because I used to always litter and always saw people littering so I decided to stop.

For This Goal I... For this goal I think I succeeded because I have stop littering and sometimes stop others.

For My Passion Project I Am Making A Rap Song With Oliver.

Myself And Oliver Chose This Project Because Mr L Gave The Class Ideas By Writing Them Up On The White Board. One Of The Ideas Was Making A Song But Me And Oliver Thought 'Why Not Make A Rap Song?'

We Will Know When We Finish The Project When We Have Created An Effective Rap Song.

GrassLands

The Grasslands have very few or no trees. Grasslands are usually found between deserts and forests.

Herbivores play a very important role in the Grasslands because if they disappeared then carnivores would have to eat each other. Therefore would slowly decline, as a result of this. Producers would flourish because herbivores would not/could not eat them therefore scavengers would not eat as much because carnivores would lower in numbers so not as much things would be killed. So the carnivores role in ecosystem is to keep carnivores feed and producers from over populating.

Carnivores also play a key role in the ecosystem because if they were eliminated then herbivores would over populate because they would not be eaten. Producers would die out because there would be too much herbivores. Scavengers would lower in numbers because not much things would be getting killed. The carnivores role in the ecosystem is to keep herbivores from over populating and to keep producers from over populating because carnivores eat herbivores and herbivores eat producers.

If scavengers somehow vanished then there would be dead corpses everywhere and the herbivores, carnivores and producers could not survive with all the dead animals and plants. The scavengers role in the ecosystem is to keep the dead corpses from piling up.

If producers disappeared then herbivores would starve and die. The carnivores would die because carnivores eat herbivores and all the herbivores would be dead. So the only thing alive would be scavengers but they would die because they couldn't eat anything. So the producers role in the ecosystem is to keep everything alive.

Overall, all organisms keep the food chain equal by keeping each other feed, also to keep the ecosystem equal.

Today Room Nine Went Down To The Juniors And Helped Out With Discovery.

Discovery Is An Activity For Years 0-3 Where You Get To Choose A Room With An Activity Like 'Cardboard Creations' Or 'Sewing.'

I Showed Participation By Helping Everybody Not Just My Buddy. My Buddy Showed Heaps Of Participation By Not Giving Up And Helping A Few Friends.

My Buddy And I Did Cardboard Creations And He Made A Boat And I Helped Somebody Build A Robot. I Chose To Make This Because It Looked Cool And Sounded Cool.

Next Time I Woud Do Cardboard Creations Again Because I Would Make A New And Improved Robot.

Huntsman Spider Report

There Are 1009 types of Huntsman Spiders, 94 of which are in New Zealand. The Huntsman Spider is classified as an Arachnid and its scientific name is Sparassidae.

The Huntsman Spider does not hunt its prey like normal spiders. The way Huntsman Spider hunts its prey is it like to stay on the ground and run its prey down. Furthermore it can last approximately 3 weeks without eating and will eat almost any insects.

The Huntsman Spider has a wandering habitat which means it does not have a specific habitat. Huntsman Spiders can be found in many different places eg. Houses, cars Etc.

The Huntsman Spider also has long for 2 reasons, to run away from predators and to run down prey. Moreover it has adapted these legs and uses them a lot.

The Huntsman Spider is not dangerous  to humans but may cause swelling and a bit of pain if bitten. Another point is it uses its venom on its prey. Some of its predators are: Wasps, birds, worms and egg parasites.

Huntsman Spiders are safe to humans but not to its prey, also they run fast to catch prey and they are usually found in houses

My Book Trailer (Hunger Games)

Kindle Conflict Unit

We got given ''Conflict Plan" for our integrated studies.

Our group, had come up with a solution... Our idea is to make stamps to solve the problem of students
doing Conflict at school, Swearing, bullying and fighting.

We came up with designs of stamps C.A.R.E (3D looking) for the students so they can get care ticks for their Bronze, Silver, then gold. We contacted the Monatarga Stamp Shop to summarise whats the price of the stamps and the price of  the ink pads. Then we are going to do a Propasal to Mrs. Gatherer. because that's our solution of our problem we solved.

This is Relational because we explained why and explained what we did in integrated studies.

End Of Year Reflection

This term I am proud of my 'Through My Eyes' video because it was very cool and I really enjoyed making it. Also I am proud of my SDL (Self Directed Learning). The Reason I am proud of my SDL is because I have gotten better at managing my learning without being prompted to.

This term I have improved on my maths. The reason I think I have improved is because at first I didn't know how to round numbers sensibly but now I completely how to round numbers.

My next step is to record my answers faster when I get a question because I can record answers within 3 seconds but I want to be able to faster.

My goals for the past week have been:

I haven't really worked on this goal for the last week as we were publishing our writing last week. This will need to be my goal next week. I have been going way better in my reading goal of staying focused so I have got my learning completed. I have completed reading assessment for reading consistently for meaning.

My second for this week is to round numbers sensibly in maths. I will know I can do this when I can recall answers within three seconds.
